Glendale Senior Dining Welcomes Serenity at Summit, Extending Its Offering To Rehabilitation Marketplace

To people in need, few experiences offer more dignity or comfort than a quality meal served by caring, attentive, skilled professionals.

Glendale Senior Dining knows this better than most. Since its launch in January 2013, the company has attracted many of New England’s most prestigious senior resident communities with its fresh, hospitable approach to resident dining.

This fall, Glendale Senior Dining extends its unique offering to the inpatient rehabilitation marketplace by welcoming Serenity at Summit to its growing customer base.

Based in Haverhill, Massachusetts, the high-end, 40-plus-bed substance abuse treatment center plans to welcome its first patients in late October. Project manager, Ed Huminick, approached Glendale Senior Dining for a proposal in late spring of this year and awarded the company its business in August.

“They were looking for a company to provide restaurant-quality dining and outstanding hospitality to people needing care, and we came highly recommended,” says Glendale Senior Dining President, Jim Hecker. “Like the senior resident communities we serve so well, theirs is an environment that values quality and a personal touch. It’s a great fit.”

To introduce the new rehabilitation center to the community, Glendale Senior Dining is hosting an invitation-only, grand opening for local business leaders and dignitaries on October 23.

Going forward, Glendale Senior Dining is confident its experience providing hospitable, caring service will make a positive difference to Serenity at Summit residents.

“Excellent food service is a big part of a stable environment,” says Hecker. “We’re excited about our role helping to create it.”
