On April 1, Glendale Senior Dining becomes the dining service management provider at Maplewood of Cheshire County, a 150-bed Assisted Living and skilled level nursing community in Westmoreland, New Hampshire.

By partnering with Maplewood, Glendale Senior Dining extends its special brand of hospitality-based food service to every segment of the senior dining market including assisted living, independent living, continuing care retirement communities (CCRC) and skilled nursing homes.

Maplewood chose Glendale Senior Dining for its uniquely personal, regional approach to customer service and reputation for developing fully transparent, collaborative relationships with clients. The only New Hampshire-based company Maplewood considered, Glendale Senior Dining was one of four providers that responded to its request for a proposal. The others included two large, prominent national companies and Maplewood’s previous senior dining provider.

“We place a high premium on customer service and quality of life,” says Maplewood administrator, Kathryn Kindopp. “As a nonprofit owned and operated by the county, we also value working with providers that know our community. The fact that Glendale Senior Dining is a local company that shares our service philosophy makes all the difference.”

James Hecker, Glendale Senior Dining President, agrees. “There’s a close alignment between the needs of Maplewood and how Glendale Senior Dining operates. We look forward to a mutually rewarding relationship.”
